Triomphe to Compete at Salesforce Hackathon

Dreamforce is blissful.  If you love technology, Salesforce.com’s annual convention is a must see.  I attended Dreamforce last year and was impressed with the innovative things that people were developing on Salesforce’s cloud platform.  It was also fun attending the keynote speeches in person and seeing Marc Benioff and Marissa Meyer.  If you need a healthy dose of tech inspiration, this is the place to go.

This year, Triomphe Global Marketing plans to make it’s mark at Dreamforce.  We had a such a great time at the AngelHack Seattle Hackathon that we decided to fly the team down to San Francisco for another caffeine-fueled weekend of coding madness.  This time, we’ll be competing in the Salesforce Hackathon at Dreamforce from October 10-12, 2014.  While the turnout should be much stronger than AngelHack, our team has been preparing and is ready to compete.

We plan to continue our focus on building automation tools that help optimize search engine marketing (SEM) on Google, Bing, and Yahoo.  This time around, our team is going to build a mobile app that deconstructs user search and rebuilds them into keywords and ads.  These keywords and ads will fit neatly into a scalable account structure.  The goal would be to create an engine that optimizes an account as it learns from user searches.  This would free up the marketers time to focus on more strategic initiatives, such as testing ad copy templates and landing pages.

Ultimately, our goal is to take this module, and ones that we’ve built over the past few months to create a cloud-based SEM account build and optimization tool.  Google AdWords and Bing AdCenter are powerful marketing tools, but they are far too “low-level” for most marketers.  By offering a “higher-level” tool that simplifies the development and optimization of SEM accounts, online marketers can spend less time tinkering with keywords, ad groups, and campaigns, and focus more on their customers and messaging.
